Dennis Quaid...what an amazingly hot man. I remember and interview Bonnie did for this video and she said that she and Dennis were friends which is why he is in the video. She also said how disconcerting it was to have him grinning and leering at her through the whole thing. Since it makes me blush to watch the major flirting going on, and it wasn't even directed at me...I can only imagine what it feels like to have the full power of a Dennis Quaid flirt turned on you.

That smile of his made me weak as a teenager. Val Kilmers too the way it just slowly grew into a full grin. So sly.

he was also married to Meg Ryan at the time.. but if Bonnie looked and flirted with me like she did at Dennis.. id put a ring on her.

Because they're friends and at the time he was a huge movie star and wanted to give her album a boost - and it worked. People watched for him and fell in love with her music.

I believe that Bonnie was doing her "comeback" [if you like that, check out Bonnie's version of "Angel from Montgomery"] album & Dennis was portraying Jerry Lee Lewis in the film "Great Balls of Fire". Dennis' movie & Bonnie's "Nick of Time" LP/CD were both released in 1989. Both brilliant, in my CP-riddled, lazy-eyed, [right-side] hemiplegic, half-spastic, hydrocephalic opinion!

I was backstage for Miss Raitt and James Taylor in Cincinnati. Miss Raitt was a total sweetheart and , unlike other artists, she came by and talked to myself and another guard. I didn't get to the concert that night, but I was there for the sound check and, wow, goosebumps. Thank you Miss Raitt. Many artists just walk on by. You didn't.

I do believe this was filmed in the shadow/timeframe of "Great Balls of Fire", hence Dennis' still-blonde hair, the Sun Records T-shirt and the 50's kinda shoes. He was at peak Dennis Quaid here. Every woman I knew back then, when watching/talking about this video, just got all...well, never mind. Let's keep YT family-friendly. I don't talk all dirty on here, even if it coming from/quoting others. 😁
