This clip is from Embodied Anatomy: The Ligamentous System with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen.
The full video is available at: bonniebainbridgecohen.com/col....
The Body-Mind Centering® approach to Embodied Anatomy is a deep, internal study of the body in which movement and consciousness are explored through the direct experience of our own body systems, tissues and cells. The principles of Embodied Anatomy can be applied to any type of movement, bodywork, therapy or other body-mind discipline. Shot at workshops with Bonnie, these DVDs are a great way to immerse yourself in an aspect of Bonnie's work and get a new perspective on movement, the body and the mind.
Ligaments set the boundaries of movement between the bones. They coordinate and guide muscular responses by directing the paths of movement between the bones and provide specificity, clarity, and efficiency for the alignment and movement of the bones. Actively engaged ligaments underlie specific and effortless movement of joints. Ligaments support the psychophysical quality of detailed specificity.
Embodying the ligamentous system with sections on: explorations of the ligaments; finding the spiraling action of ligaments ; ligaments of the hands, forearms, and elbows ; ligaments of the shoulders and shoulder girdles; ligaments of the ribs and spine; ligaments of the pelvis and hips; ligaments of the knees, forelegs, and feet; differentiating flesh and bone; and the embryological development of the ligaments.

I'm so jealous! My hip wants to experience the release! Is there some way to do this when I'm by myself with no experienced hand to help?

Yes, you are right.. Ueshiba, the founder of aikido, called this 'yamabiko' or 'mountain echo'.. we have to 'wait', in a sense, or 'follow' the rebound..! It's so nice to see the same sensitivity in your work as the best aikido. Thanks for uploading..
