A bit disappointing of an ending for Dame Aylin. After she's betrayed to Lorrican, she swears vengeance , and later watches her beloved Isobel get slain in front of her. I was expecting her to return as an Avenging Angel of Selune / Holy Terminator 'that will not stop - ever - until you are dead..'

She should show up in place of the red dragon at the end, not even dominated by the brain, just full of hatred

I think if you betray her, a bad Rolan is there and Lorroakan dies, Rolan will try to use her inmortality. But after a long rest you will find Rolan's corpse and Aylin is gone.

What happens if Rolan is dead and you kill Lorroakan after freeing Aylin but before he does the immortality ritual? Does Aylin just peace out? I tried this but reloaded before I got too far, I couldn't seem to give Isobel an update but I didn't try resting.

for what's it worth, I recently finished an honour mode run where I teamed up with Dame Aylin to fight Lorrokan, but got my ass kicked so hard that I had to flee through the vaults to save my run. the quest was still active so I thought maybe I could fight him, but he ends up trapping her and is invulnerable, and i wasn't aware you could kill him. she does have a special dialogue when you talk to her, begging you not to bring Isobel, but no way to free her. she did show up at the end with all my other allies, though, so I guess she escapes somehow, probably a bug though

so quick tip. Put one of your tanks like karlack with the sussur bloom and have here run up next to larokin, his ai doesn't know he needs to back up so he will just melee you with his stick

@@Anonymous3152susser bloom died out of the undertake. Yeah? And you lose access to the under dark in act III. Yeah?

@@matthewraye64 they only die if you put them out in the world. if a character is holding them or they are put inside your chest at camp they will not die, infact you will have an aura that will suround the chest and it will turn off your magic if you get near it. Also yes you loos access to act 2 once you go to act 3 so you will nedd to save any extras in your chest in act 2 befor going to act 3

You should be able to steal her immortality yourself if you're playing a wizard. Then the game would literally be on god mode from there on

They already put so many resources into the bad endings they met a limit of how vile the expect players to be Aylin 😂

Most games end up having to cut content because of deadlines. It’s not unique to Baldur’s Gate. You have to settle with the time you have left. It’s impossible to put everything you originally planned in time no matter how great it sounded.

Now I am curious, if you hand Dame Aylin over to Lorroakan, then kill him, then go and tell Isobel AFTER you throw Lorroakan off the tower, will Isobel still end up dead?

Looks like they didn't really plan for it. Obviously they knew it was a possibility because you get inspired if you kill immortal Lorroakan, but doesn't look like they anticipated it being very likely for people to go that route in their playthroughs.

this ending for her is probably something that will change if it hasn't already, Larian has been doing whatever they can to add more to the game and fill out the gaps like this one in various updates.

I am surprised she died, ain't she an immortal? Also, when you tried to speak with the dead, you should have used a spell to change your appearance. Dead people don't usually want to talk with the people that slain them. It's even in the tooltips!

That's unlikely but can give it a try...But she has dialogues when Lorroakan is still alive.

@@ElenaBG3 maybe not but from what I’ve gathered and heard is if you kill Someone then try to raise dead they still know you killed them so they don’t talk to you in protest but disguising yourself makes you look like just an innocent someone that wants to know what happened to them.

"The corpse has nothing to say" isn't the same as it refusing to speak with its killer. That particular line of narration just means that the corpse has no lines to speak/can't be spoken to at all
