Photos are funny and shows that some people, (Red Necks ?), have imagination to get the job done when on a low budget. Ya gotta love it. Also the music is good, not like some videos that have noise disguised as music.

You get up to an invigorating 16*F morning. Truck won't crank. Car won't crank. Call the boss and tell him yer gonna be a bit late and drive the tractor to work. That afternoon, you trade the tractor in for one that has a heated cab.

"A State Sale" was heartbreaking. Probably selling stuff they have no idea of. Reminds me of the time as an 8 y/o child. There was a kid about 14 or so, surrounded by boughs of evergreens, and freezing his tail off. The sign said, "REETS."

I felt that one! Years ago when my kids were small, my Mom talked me into painting a bunch of "Yard Sale" signs for her, they lived way out in the boonies so needed a lot of signs. I stayed up most of that night painting signs, and in the wee hours drove the route putting up signs. In the morning Mom called me, "Get out here, the newspaper wants to interview you!" but wouldn't tell me what was up. Turns out I was so tired I painted "Sard Yale" on several of them and never noticed. I guess nothing was going on that week for that to make the paper, but all's well that ends well, she hired me to work at the paper. Anyway--bless that 14 year old's heart, I guess he meant to paint "wreaths"?

@@Doxymeister You got it! Something that BobD missed. The poor kid didn't even know how to spell the word. Here in the South, you see it spelled REEFS in the mountain communities.

@@bobd9193 Sound it out. They spelled Estate Sale as A State Sale. So the kid with the wreaths, had a sign selling "reets," not knowing how to spell.

I learned to drive on a car like 33:40. A 1967 VS Fastback, it was a nice car. A paint roller tray would make a functional cowl induction scoop for a rat rod.

Belt through the trigger guard... if you know guns, it's not as big of a deal as it looks... the belt is behind the trigger, preventing rearward travel, and not across the front of it where it could pull the trigger rearward and fire it.

bot a 36 chev down this long gravel road. It was a 2 door sedan and starting towin her home and my rear driveshaft fell out. Hopped out, pulled the yoke off the transfer case put it in Hi 4x4 (203) transfer case in the 57 monster truck and went on home with ma tresure
