Jason Staples’ new book on Paul is a must read for this topic.

This is the first I've heard of this perspective on Paul, and you're so right that his contentions for grace vs the law (all the ones I can think of) are in context of circumcision and dietary restrictions. And He, along with the other apostles, strongly contended that gentiles did not have to follow the Jewish separatist laws. But I don't think that's the whole story, because Paul gives many practical admonitions for how Christians should love God and love one another. I think also about the times in the gospels when Jesus was questioned about the law, and the parables He taught. Those were about the how-to-live commandments, and He taught very consistently that the law as God intended it was right and true. He also said on different occasions that if you love Me, you'll obey My commands. So could we interpret the teaching that Christ fulfilled the law and we gentile believers are no longer under the law to mean that Jesus fulfilled the REQUIREMENTS of the law, that is paid the penalty of transgression, on our behalf. But with the guidance and strength of the Holy Spirit, we are very much expected to honor the commands? With the full understanding that Jesus has paid in advance for our failures. Salvation is only possible through Jesus' sacrifice, none of us can live a whole life without sin. But if we are sincere in our commitment to follow Jesus, we will be full participants in our sanctification - which is life in obedience to the Commandments. I think this is consistent with the whole body of Scripture, would love to hear others' thoughts!

You might want to try an air filter, you can get one for pollen. Regarding Eve, Andrew Bartlett's book 'Men and Women in Christ' looks at that. Regarding the New Perspective, I remember listening to a chat between Dunn and Wright in which Dunn said youre only justified at the end of your life, when your 'works' show you had real faith. Wright seemed to agree with him. I may have misunderstood, but that seemed to be what they were saying. So they didnt seem to be emphasizing the Jewish 'law' aspect.

Would love to hear more interaction with Paul Within Judaism, like Thiessen.

The problem is that there are many versions of the New perspective.
