I enjoyed the puzzle. I found this channel recently after noticing the cracking channel stopped the GAS puzzles. So I've been working the backlog of puzzles. I didn't watch your introduction and was like, "man, this doesn't feel like a GAS puzzle." I did enjoy it and was happy to catch the solve path fairly quickly after some initial confusion.

yeez, dutch whispers took more time than I expected. Lovely puzzle, and the video certainly helps to learn the trick.

It's good to see the intended solve path and learn new tricks, I only noticed that two low digits had to exist in box 1, and the same for high digits in box 9 regardless of the 5 position and because both positions already had 2 taken that positioned both the 5s, thank you so much for all you do!

I did get completely stuck after resolving the long German Whispers, and had to watch the solve, and learnt the importance of 5 and 6 in Dutch Whispers (which has heretofore been my least favourite constraint). Very useful. And the puzzle led me finally to check out the Gas Leak documents, which I can see are going to be fun. A nice bonus, after the real pleasure of solving your lovely Quadro puzzle earlier.

Several tough bonus puzzles this month... I really like these puzzles, they are more difficult, good test of what you are learning.This one has had me stumped, Lucian had a solve, and I was able to see the 19-5-19 thing, sort of bull my way through it. Thanks for this, I'm seeing it better, thanks. OOH, I have a request from the very first Gas Leak, a it's a wicked arrow by Philip that's been taunting me for 3 years. I've tried probably 10 times, keep getting stuck, or just bull my way through it in an hour or more. Dunno if it's my limited ability to follow chains or I'm missing a trick...

Got stuck the first time on the Dutch whispers. Second time around I realized there were only four possible strings of 9 digits, depending on whether the middle digit was 1 or 9, and depending on whether the series went up-down or down-up... and then the other already found digits from the German whispers were able to rule out all but one on each side.

It's an interesting puzzle but I couldn't resolve the Dutch whisper line between just trying out one of the two 159 options and seeing it didn't work; I couldn't do it without such bifurcation. The trick with ruling out the 6 in box 4 was beyond me.
