Thanks for this. One of the few explanations on this sampler that is nicely explained.

You do not need to increase the amp E.G. release at all. There are several trigger modes. You can choose OneShot mode. This way the sample will play until its end.

Usually, a decent sampler will have a zero point function so that you don't have to annoyingly zoom and and find it. For example, Cubase's sampler track, you can enable the zero point crossing button, which makes it so easy to create loop points. I was thinking about buying this VST, but not sure now.

Thanks for this video! A quick question: I just wanna automatically map my set of Mellotron samples onto the respective MIDI notes. How would I do that in TX16Wx?

Thank you so much for your very helpful video. I'm trying to do something very simple and it may be in your video but am not sure. Just want to assign a filter to velocity so that the harder you play the sound with a keyboard the more the filter opens up - so that lower velocities will be more "muted" in regard to high frequencies. Your help will be most appreciated!

There should be a "snap to zero crossing point" capacity like in many audio editors, to make finding the looping points easier!

If I drop an accapella on the TX16Wx and slice it... how would I get the slices to play over the keys? The manual won't open when I press the button on the interface. I dropped the file onto the wave editor... then sliced but no sound when I play the keys. Thanks!
@miguel330116 жыл бұрын
Right clic on the sample, then select 'Layout slices'.

Hi I first want to Thank You for takin g the time make this video I use Logic Pro X and I recorded few sound effects and humming some notes and sound of a water flow down the creak can I bring in each of this audio clips and use this sampler to create seamless loops So then I can bring them back into logic to use in alchemy ?

Excellent resource, thank you. Question for anyone: does this sampler allow spreading a single sample across the keyboard but with different start/stop points?
@ChaitanyaBhagwatChai4 жыл бұрын
I found this video looking for the same answer. The solution seems to be to duplicate the wave through right click on the original wave (not reimport it), then you can manipulate it separately and assign to a different note.

Hi. When I assign two different groups to a key (like you did at 10:55), the Keyboard only plays one of them. Do you know how I can solve this? Also, when I click the "sounds" tab, whatever knob I turn, it applies to both groups. Thanks

I just downloaded the TX16Wx and although I've watched multiple youtube videos, the sampler I have doesn't look like yours. I know I'm new at using it but would like to see an updated video of how to set it up like yours. Thanks for the vid. Liked and subbed. George

this video was made for v2.4, the sampler is at version 3 with an overhauled ui. the concept remains the same though, if you can find the same ui equivalents, all the actions are the same

Could anyone help me figure out how to set the multiple outputs to from TX16Wx to Waveform(Tracktion)? The DAW appears to support it (plugin parameters has a "configure output channels" section) but it splits them into "Named" and "Discreet" both saying they are unsupported by the plugin... Thanks in advance!

I was able to get it to work in Cakewalk By Bandlab (Sonar), just splitting each Sampler out to separate Audio tracks. Funny - the one thing that bugs me about Cakewalk (the separate Midi/Audio Tracks for one instrument) is what saved me. Still curious if Waveform can do this though... Anyone?

Have you tried doing this in Izotope Iris 2 (if you have it)? Its supposed to have a very good pitchshifting algorithm.
@GhostSamaritan4 жыл бұрын
I got Iris 2 free when I bought another plugin. Do you think it's better than TW16Wx for sampling?
@dissdad87444 жыл бұрын
@@GhostSamaritan It's good for taking single sounds (one shots) and transforming them into a synth like patch. It's not suitable for classical Kontakt style multisampling though.

too bad the looping doesnt have a nifty "visualizer" for the wavelength for looping like Polyphone has, but ah well.
@insertanynameyouwant53116 жыл бұрын
it`s funny that they have mottos like "Bring back the joy of sampling" or "Sampling is an art", but I still don`t how is it possible with TX16Wx. Eventually it has no synthesizer module to change the sound dramatically, i use it just to launch sfz/wav, very handy for that
@miguel330116 жыл бұрын
There is an AEG, two assignable envelopes, a LFO, two assignable sequencers and a modulation panel. it is posible to create synth sounds with one-clycle waveforms too. Cheers,
@insertanynameyouwant53116 жыл бұрын
ok thanks
@dissdad87445 жыл бұрын
A sampler is not supposed to have any "synthesizer module" to begin with! You are supposed to create sound from sampled audio material.
