Please do not take your frustrations out on the UPS, USPS, and the FedEx workers, take them out on the seller. I am right now a potential candidate to a part time package handling job for UPS in Spokane. There are a handful of delivery methods that range from super slow to super fast. A lot of it is what the company will charge for delivery. With this said, the kind of delivery is requested/paid for at the cashier location. A driver everyday will come out to a cashier office to pick up the boxes that are received and take them to the shipping grounds to process them and send them into the right transit terminal. Depending on the kind of delivery requested will they send it through UPS or FedEx. That is to say that a normal delivery will mean that packages that arrive/leave the local terminal will have the same thing happen at four or five other terminals before it approaches the city of the person who ordered it. Then and only then, will it go on a neighborhood truck and get delivered to the person who ordered it. If it is express, two day or one day, it is the same process, but it will be delivered via air transit. Then and only then, will it be taken from the nearest air terminal to the local package handling terminal and sent out to the person whom ordered it. The thing is, delayed packages 85% of the time are on the sellers, not the people handling them.

WolfGames if it requires a signature, it's common sense and policy to knock, and ring if there's one to use. Some people just take too long to get to the door. Especially when you've got 200+stops plus 3 hours of scheduled pick ups to get off before 5-7. Seconds matter, so when someone takes too long, you've got no choice but to next them.
