Long fatal love chase is one of Alcotts sensationalist novels. One of those she wrote to make $$ because they sold so well.

Woman in white was so much fun! It’s sensationalist too, but full of suspense and mystery.

I hope you enjoy Frankenstein! It's one of my favorite classics. I find it interesting that The Help was popular for, like, a minute and then just disappeared. I really enjoyed it, and I still own my original copy.

I know, that strikes me as funny as well. I think I'll enjoy reading it a second time. I've never been that interested in Frankenstein, but now that I've got a copy, I'd like to get to it this year. I'm glad to know you enjoy it!

I just read A Long Fatal Love Chase and loved it 4.5 stars for me. Definitely not Little Women. 😄 Frankenstein and the The Woman in White are both awesome. 5 stars.

Good to know! I don't know why it surprises me when I find something by an author that is different than their normal writing. 😄
