I love the smell of books. I especially love the smell of old books and have a small collection of 1700-1800 books that just make me really happy when I crack them open The smell takes me to a different place.

Oh. My. GOSH. So I'm like eight months late to coming across this video. I wasn't even going to comment because of how old this video is at this point, but then you whipped out one of Amanda Lovelace's books. We went to the same high school. She graduated the year after me, but we did have a math class together my sophomore year (her freshman year). I had my own issues going on back then, so I never really approached her or attempted to become friends... But I can say, there was just a very kind energy about her. So I was thrilled when she posted about her first book- The Princess Saves Herself In This One- had gotten published. It was pretty awesome to see someone like her succeed in achieving what was once one her dreams or goals. So I couldn't help but get excited when I heard you mention her name.

My husband and I just got done watching all the LOTR and Hobbit movies. We've seen them several times before, of course, but it's been a very long time since our last watch, so we were keen to watch them all again. We watched 1-2 movies every Sunday, so it took us about a month or so. 🙂 Really enjoyed the rewatch!

Hi Mint... Sorry to hear you were sick.. I hate going away because of this reason, even though I'd love to travel and see amazing places, I don't travel well.. I quite often feel ill travelling.. or wanting toilet breaks every hour isn't good! ( weak bladder now ) 😢 but that photo of the house you stayed in.. Wow..isn't it like the Practical Magic house. Loved the book haul, exactly what I am passionate about myself! I am reading Strange the Dreamer at the moment as well :D I love Sparrow's ability 🌸I am also reading The Fairie Handbook🧚‍♀I higly recommend ''The Moorchild" by Eloise McGraw. I loved it as a 12-year old, I could identify so much with the changeling and it was so wonderful to reread it as an adult. I also recommend the books by Wolf Dieter Storl. He has a lot of wisdom when it comes to plants, the forest, folklore and ancient herbal symbolism and practices. Unfortunately there are only a few of his books that are translated in English, I read them in German. I don't share all of his views when it comes to the modern wold, but I love everything else about his books.
