I had to read The Outsiders in 8th grade and loved it! It was one of the few "required reading" books I actually enjoyed in school! The movie is a great adaptation, too. Pretty much every member of the cast went on to become HUGE household names in the 80's, and many still are... Tom Cruise, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Diane Lane, Ralph Macchio, C. Thomas Howell, Emilio Estevez, Matt Dillon... I highly recommend reading the book and then watching the movie.

I'm actually currently rereading the Harry Potter series for the first time since I originally read it and oh gosh I forgot how much I love these books. The second time around reading them is such a different experience because you recognize all the little hints and clues that JK Rowling put into this series. Stepping back into the world of wizardry has been like looking at old photos and I'm so excited because I'm going to Universal this weekend with my family! This will be my first time going and hopefully I can pick up a wand and a Gryffindor robe :)

I absolutely love your edition of the snow queen (is that the name?) Where did you get it? I really love Sarah Dessen's writing, but I'm hesitant to read her new books. I feel like all her books are the same. Girl has problem. Girl meets boy. Boy helps with problem. Something happens. Problem is fixed. Girl and boy end up together. I think she's gotten comfortable in what she writes. She's good at it, but it's all the same. I can't wait to hear what you think of her new book.
