Wonderful review! I was kind of wary of this book because I was worried about the changing POVs and the book covering so much time, but after reading and loving Pachinko (which also covered a lot of time and a lot of characters), I'm more interested in checking this book out as well - I loved hearing your thoughts on the pros and the cons of the structure she chose! :)

I'm so happy you compared it to Pachinko because I've been wanting to read that one too, I know it's gotten a lot of hype as well and I've been putting it off subconsciously, but I'm determined to read it this year.
