I think it's so awesome that your family is doing a book club around your book -- that's just so amazing and supportive. And yeah, it would be weird too 😆. Good for you for setting some hard boundaries - the internet can be a strange and entitled place, mind-boggling, really...and yes to feeling your way through what you want to be writing. As a fellow people-pleaser I know how agonizing that can be, but its worth the momentary discomfort to become more true to yourself. 😉
