People who like Ahmed Johnson (real name Tony Norris) love the songs from a liar that they are brainwashed by the manipulative liar that they fall into their bs until it's too late to realize. Ahmed never got along with Harlem Heat, New Jack, Scott Hall, XPac, Jeff Jarrett, Steve Austin, Ron Simmons, HHH, Chyna, Jerry Lawler, Jim Ross, DLo, Kama/The Godfather, Mark Henry, The Rock, and Sunny. It's amazing how many of these people had to deal with his problematic behavior.

I didn't know Ahmed ever even had any interaction with New Jack. It's by no means hard to believe they didn't get along - regardless of what Ahmed was like, New Jack seemed to very rightfully gain his reputation as horribly abrasive - but I had zero clue they were ever in a company together.

For anyone who's too young to remember or wasn't even born yet, here we go: Ahmed Johnson was never good in the ring or on the mic, and should count himself lucky that he ever got a run with the Intercontinental Championship. Just remember he won that title at the same King Of The Ring ppv where Steve Austin won the tournament, launching Austin 3:16. By 1997 no one wanted to work with Ahmed because he was dangerous, and even the Nation Of Domination rejected him in favour of a barely known young man called Rocky Maivia. Looking back as someone who lived through that era, there was never any room for Ahmed Johnson in the WWF World Championship picture, not only because of the rise of Austin but also having the likes of Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, the Undertaker, Vader and Sycho Sid on the roster.....but of course it's 2023 now, so everything has to be because of racism 🥱

"o everything has to be because of racism " You're full of crap. "Ahmed Johnson was never good in the ring or on the mic, " Ahmed Johnson did moves that at the time were not seen on major american wrestling television. Yeah, he was just sloppy with their execution. You forget to mention that AT THE TIME, he indeed WAS over with the audience and for the time was probably the next biggest babyface in the company after Shawn Michaels. THAT'S why he was given a run with the Intercontinental title.

@@wingedhussar1453 Yes, the criticism about Ahmed as a performer is mostly in retrospect, especially from fans. Probably the only people who would have criticized Ahmed at the time were wrestlers he had matches with. People ignore that at the time, even if Ahmed was a terrible talker and rough in the ring, he was still actually popular enough with the fans at the time. Funny you mentioned Ultimate Warrior because Ahmed was a lot like that for the aforementioned reasons (and also for having a bad reputation). It was something that Warrior was swapped out for Sid in that one In Your House PPV main event with Ahmed and Shawn vs Camp Cornette, because if Warrior hadn't, then there would have been Warrior and Ahmed on stage at the same time.
