Mark Henry was playing stupid for the AEW audience. EVERYONE knows the commentators say what they are instructed to say. Those were Vince's words and Corey was the mouthpiece. Vince was angry and thought the behavior was unprofessional and wanted to make sure it was said on air. It's crazy that Mark would sit there and say that like he doesn't know Corey can't just go off script and give his own opinion. That was 100% Vince and that was 100% the thoughts of WWE.

I think Sasha and Naomi walking out the night of raw actually helped WWE. Think about If they waited until after Naomi won the #1 contendership to face Bianca but then left. It would have been even worse trying to fix the situation for Bianca to have an opponent. Also they need to just retire the womens tag team division. There is not even enough depth in the womens tag division to even have championships, it is pointless. And that’s not a knock on the women that’s a knock on creative.

It's interesting.. Because on the one hand you have Vince yelling in your ear to say this thing that you should know is out of pocket, potentially angering some of your coworkers. On the other is your desire to keep drawing a paycheck. The announcement team makes choices every show how to word things and what to actually say. Having watched many years of wrestling (and listening to commentary) I know for a fact they aren't 100% scripted, even in this day and age. Still, it is the company's statement. So if Mark went down to the table, it would be a wasted trip.. Vince's desk would be where he should have been headed in his hypothetical situation. I agree with Mark's anger. WWE took the low road with this situation and actually lost an opportunity to spin it into an angle. But Vince will be Vince. Side note: I do find it odd how many folks in the comments are trashing Mark about having lost touch with "the business" because he is in AEW. Acting like because he found a boss he feels won't disrespect him and his, somehow he is no longer in touch with reality is kinda strange. I wonder how many of you just eat any kind of insult from your boss regardless of your talent and work ethic? How many have never quit a job because of bad management?

How does him having a nicer boss dispute him still being I'm touch??? Also don't make a leaving job comparison, that's is just as low as what they are doing. Mark should have millions saved up and another company that needed people, he never had "back bone", he always had security when making the switch. I like mark alot, but your really trying to make out that guys like him are taking a risk

If Jimmy Uso with the rest of the family including Roman made it clear they do not appreciate how THEIR family Naomi was treated, vince would do every damn thing to make sure this situation was resolved backstage and respectfully.

I have a ton of respect for Mark Henry but this shines a light on how some wrestlers/employees of wrestling promotions are in denial about who's truly behind the decisions being made. It's like former WWE talent blaming Nick Khan or John Laurinaitis for their release. How do they not realize that was Vince McMahon's call? Even Ric Flair, who has been in this industry since the early 70's, blamed Nick Khan for him being edited out of the opening montage they show at the beginning of every WWE program. Why would Khan be responsible for that?

There was a lot more said on Busted Open and LaGreca (the host) mentioned that Vince told him to say that. Mark constantly takes WWEs side on a lot of issues. He was mainly mad about them being called unprofessional and I understand where he is coming from but I also understand WWE being upset with their employees for not doing what they pay them to do but I don't get why people seem to have no empathy and in a lot of cases plain hatred of Sasha Banks. She's not my favorite female wrestler but she's one of them because she can definitely work and she actually has a character.

I think because for people in the know, she’s has been crappy towards fans, people inside wrestling has said she’s a crappy person, and some of her interviews she come off as in her own world. Others wrestlers have had stories about her and people like Meltzer/Keller have told stories about Sasha. I don’t think it’s just all of sudden. I think some people are just tired of her. Plus she complaining about bad booking when the 98% of the wrestlers have bad booking. I see more indifference then hate to be honest or there’s fans defending her. If she leaves good for her, will it change anything or start another wrestling boom? No.
