I have only ever done external patching. Thanks for showing me another way to do it, that is quite subtle and tidy looking. Food for thought.

The thread colour is so beautiful. I struggle getting my fabric to lie as flat as you do but I think it’s just practice…I really live how much detail you go into - it really helps!

Try pressing the fabric first and pinning or safety pins, I’ve also used a water soluble glue stick to help keep layers together 😄

how do you measure your thread so you have enough for your mend
