Goodness there is so much for a cleanup!! I created a step by step process of what I do and what I check. I did that years ago using Desktop. I have so many notes on it now for using Online that it is insane. LOL. I'd love to see more video like this just to see how others do clean ups as well. When I started in 1998 working with businesses it was so foreign. I find your videos to be so similar to how I have built my firm. Thanks for taking the time to share. I know this time of the year it is super busy!!

Client had asked me to work on 2023. Beg bal is way off. 2022 tax has been completed. Do I just continue with 2023 and make an adjusting entry for 1/1/2023 to corrct the beg bal?

If the issue will take a long time to find/correct, then yes, I would just adjust and start on 2023.

In order to perform clean up do you need to have their bank accounts linked in to QBO?
