All great tips! Also look into filing sales tax reports. Most states have online training available. It is great service to add and usually does not take a lot of time and is a huge pain point for clients.

Agreed! It really is. Pain point for business owners I service MN based clients and I can request third party access to their e-services account so I can file and pay sales tax on their behalf

Thank you. This is very useful info. I am taking the ProAdvisor class now. I've done bookkeeping on and off for the last 30 yrs, but never put out my own shingle. Once I'm through and start getting clients I'm considering adding CFP and CFA. My background is mostly in Aviation and Publishing, so I'm hoping to make those industries my specialties.
