Thank you for another great lesson. I was of the opinion that when the Lord had his feet anointed with oil (by Martha?) Judas was upset that oil was not taken and sold. Judas was the one who kept the money. He seems to be upset that he didn't receive those additional funds. I wonder if maybe he was skimming some of the money they received from things like the selling of the oil off for himself. Thank you again for your great lesson.

For it is written in the prophets that they shall all be taught by God: everyone who hears and learns from the Father comes to me. It is not that no one has seen the Father, but only those who are from God have seen the Father. Truly, truly, I say to you, who believe He has eternal life, and I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate manna in the wilderness and died, but this is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that people can eat it and not die. If you eat, you will live forever. The bread I will give you is my flesh for the life of the world.” John 6:45-51 Dear Father God, who is the true life, I thank you so much for the grace of calling us poor people by your will. In Moses' time, the Passover night sacrifice was a lamb. Those who were saved were those who ate the lamb. However, in the time of Moses, those who smeared the blood of the lamb on the doorposts and the living room on the night of the Passover and ate the meat and those who ate the manna given from heaven did not live forever and eventually all died. In John 6, Jesus refers to himself as the living bread (manna) that came down from heaven, and he said that if you eat this bread, you will live forever. This bread was the blood and flesh of Jesus. And Jesus said in Luke 22:14~20, "I will not eat the Passover again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God" and made a new covenant with Jesus' blood. He said that he would not eat the flesh and blood of the Passover sheep, the food of eternal life, again until it is fulfilled in the Father's kingdom. The words of the new covenant, the blood and flesh of Jesus, that is, the wine and the bread, are hidden from this day until the fulfillment. According to Revelation 2:17, the hidden manna and the white stone are given to the overcomer, so who will bring the food of eternal life? Our faith is to understand, believe, and keep the words of the new covenant. Celebrating this Sunday, I earnestly pray in the name of Jesus that everyone who possesses the Word, which is eternal life, amen 🙏

If the men in the school of the prophets washed their own feet before Joseph did it, it negated the purpose of the example that the Saviour set. Joseph would only wash the feet of the other men once they had already cleaned them themselves???

It probably served a more ritual purpose and not necessarily a literal purpose. It's like the Temple today. Many of the things we do are symbolic and don't require actual physical actions. Think of the Initiatory ordinance.

No where in the scriptures is Judas called son of perdition!!!!!! He never denied Christ. Who shall be his judge ? Me not on my life! The scriptures say that Satan overcame him not that Judas joined him! You need to be very careful with the words you choose, your words make it sound like you’re judging already what and who he is. How do you judge mother Eve? Is she evil for partaking of the fruit? I apologize if this is rude or harsh but I truly am tired of the blame not being placed where it belongs, Satan!

John 17:12 actually does reference Judas as the son of perdition. And perdition by definition means no more eternal progression and eternal damnation because of an unwillingness to repent.
