I’m a little bit confused and troubled. You speak of emotions as something we should try to avoid and I don’t agree with that as a whole. Of course negative emotions should be avoided like a plague but positive ones like love should be embraced. One of the ways I receive answers to my prayers is through emotions. Love your lessons and I’m so grateful for all that you do to bring these videos about!! Thank you!!

Are you insinuating or just out right coming out and saying that Christ didn’t love Judas? You said something to the effect that, “Jesus was with the apostles He loved,Judas was gone.” Why is it that you dislike Judas so intensely? There are several things I’d like you to consider. There are a lot of people who were foreordained to do certain things in this life and Judas was one. Satan was given a part of this betrayal and did a very good job. There is no way we as mortals can know all of what happened back then. Last of all we are taught to “not judge lest ye be judged.” I’ve probably come across as judgmental myself and for that I apologize. I feel like there are many in the scriptures that get a bad wrap for doing what they were called to do and it really bothers me.😊

No one is foreordained to sin. (From Neal A Maxwell) Also, unless I missed it she is talking about was when Jesus saying what they (the apostles) asked He would do. I think she mentions Judas was gone because he obviously was listening to bad spirits/thoughts to turn in the Savior. If Judas was there whatever they asked He probably wouldn’t do because we have to ask what is right. Maybe that isn’t the part that you are talking about.

Thank you for your preparation and service. at 30:26 you talk about our prayers going through Christ. I'm not sure that's the doctrine. Elder McKonkie specifically said that our prayers go directly to the Father, they don't go through Christ or the saints, or the beads of the rosary or anything or anyone else.

After watching this portion, we believe that Lynn means that you pray to the Father, in Jesus' name, through the power of the Holy Ghost. She is not implying that you pray to Jesus.

This is not on the topic of this video, but I don't know how to ask you other than under one of your latest videos. In 1 Nephi 5:18, Lehi prophecies that the brass plates will go to every nation , tongues ,kindreds, and people who are his seed. I thought that all of his seed came to this continent with him. Do you have an explanation for me?

His seed spread throughout the world so it’s needed to go to all the world.

The Church's website states: "The Bible is the word of God. It is a witness for God and Jesus Christ. Members of the Church are encouraged to study it and follow its teachings. The Church uses many translations of the Bible in various languages. In English, the King James Version is used as the official Bible of the Church." That being said, the church respects and accepts other translations of the Bible, but the KJV is considered the official English version for use in church meetings, scripture study, and teaching. LDS Church leaders have said that while no translation is perfect, the KJV has stood the test of time and has become the standard for the church's teachings. LDS members are encouraged to use study aids and resources to help them better understand the original languages and context of the Bible, as long as those resources are in harmony with the church's teachings.
