I read The Scorpion Rules and its sequel last year and it was a good time! It's not exactly what you'd expect and it seems people either love or hate it, but the duology as a whole is such an interesting take on the YA dystopian genre. Also there's a f/f romance! And really interesting AI characters!

I forget if you’ve read it but Cloud Cuckoo Land might be something you would like. Space elements, spans multiple timelines and characters, and has a strange quirky story within the story too. It’s great!!

OMG I loved In The Quick, I think the synopsis is not very good so it hasn't gotten good ratings and the ending is a little wack but it's a solid book overall imo and I think you'll like it too! The first third is specifically about space training too, which I know you've said is your thing!

@@Gniaget they sent out a survey to people that had signed up for updates about a month ago. If memory serves, they were thinking 26$ per month which yes is better then most adult hardbacks in Canada, but compared to US prices for BotM is expensive.
