Bookshelf Tour | 2012 Update

For the TBR I went by height. Yeah I didn't even realise it until I was editing this! I am super picky with the heights, so some of the series are slightly uneven in height and I separated them, ahah!

Ahh I see! Different things work for different people :) I think I'd get confused with genres, I don't know.. And then with genres that are a mix, what do you do with those?

Thank you! I am from Australia :) Yeah some editions are American, some UK and some Australian :) Just depends where I buy them from and which cover I prefer!

I thought it was actually more normal, but as I can see from the comments, a lot of people don't QUITE have as many unread books! Omg I'm not the only Aussie that has a supernatural book! I'm a massive fan of the TV show and when I saw that people have actually written books I was like I need to have them!! Their not half bad you know :)

If you don't ever read Twilight, I understand, but try and disconnect any connotations with it and The Host. IT IS AMAZEBALLS! The first couple of chapters are a little bit slow, but it is amazing. It was the first book I ever re-read!

Sometimes online, sometimes from my local bookstore or department store :) If I want an international cover then I will go ahead and buy it online, or if I can't find it for /relatively/ cheap instore

I have a variety of editions, depending on where I buy them - there are a lot of US and UK ones and a few Australian covers as well :)

Yeah, Crescendo is in English. I only really know what it means in terms of music, but it is something along the lines of a gradual increase, so kind of similar to growing up in some sense.

I only have- The Land Of Stories and Little Women. I have way more on my bookshelf but the ones on your bookshelves: Do you suggest any REALLY good ones, appropriate for a 10 year old? (I don't have Supernatural, or Boy in The Striped Pajamas but I've seen the show and movie.)

hello! quick question. I noticed that you had most of/the entire Secrets of the Immortal Nicolas Flammel series by Michael Scott. Question is, why don't you keep them together? Hope I don't sound rude, just curious.

Thank you! At least it is a healthy addiction! Yeah at first I was really hesitant about it because I loved having series together (wasn't bothered about authors works) but I am glad I decided to go for colour. The way I had it organised annoyed me because I didn't really like how it looked :D

Mmm no not really. The majority of my unread books are paperback, and I'd say that about 1/2 to 3/4 of my read books are paperback too. I usually buy hardback if I know I'm gonna love the book :) But then again paperbacks are a lot cheaper!

I always enjoy seeing what people have on their shelves. I have my books organized differently than a lot of these book tour videos I have seen since I have a lot more non fiction. Fiction is by author for hardcover and large paperback. Mass market paperbacks are boxed in decorative craft/photo boxes by author. Non Fiction is by Subject then sub divided as needed. Books in series/sets are by title or series #. graphic novel/tpb are by publisher then series.

I use a Nikon Coolpix L100 :) And to record this I had a stack of boxes and books upon a chair and my desk hahaha! I don't have a tripod

It's hard to say, but I think that if you find a really good book that you completely devour :) This happened to me a few years ago, after I hadn't read in a while, and ever since I have just been reading and reading! So maybe have a look around for a well-known book that intrigues you and give it a try :D
