I loved people we meet on vacation! It's always interesting what couples work for people, because in romance you really have to like them for the book to work. I felt that way about the Spanish Love Deception. I'm so glad people love it, but since I didn't love the couple, the book wasn't as good for me!

What you said about sexual harassment is so true or just dealing with certain types of guys. Sometimes I just keep it to myself because I cant. My choice was "Somebody's Daughter" I love Memoirs especially memoirs by Black women. Book of The Month has great choices when it comes to memoirs. "The Beauty in Breaking" is really good memoir. It's my favorite. Maybe I'm biased because I love science currently a premed. So I loved that book. I read Michelle Obama's memoir. So yeah. I also loved "Girl who smiled Beads" that's another BOM pick.

I read Know my Name recently and it brought me to tears. Such a beautifully written memoir with so many important things discussed. I'm hoping to get my hands on my own copy of it one day, and it greatly inspired me to write and perform a piece about sexual assault myself, it's had such an impact on me ❤️
