This is so cool!!! One of favorite traditions is the Christmas eve candlelight service at church. We've always done one at 11 pm. There is something so beautiful about singing carols together in the dark and quiet as Christmas day arrives

My favorite Christmas tradition is our yearly cookie bake. Around 12 of us get together, I rent a community room in my building. We each pick a cookie and bake it together that day and have lunch together. Gives us a chance to catch up with the people we may not see as often and in the end you leave with a massive amount of different cookies and your holiday baking is done :) Merry Christmas Amanda 🎄

Merry Christmas! My parents passed away young so I don't have any traditions passed down through the years but I find peace each year in putting up my Christmas village on the mantle. Even years where I don't put up a tree or other decorations the houses are up and peaceful to look at with their glowing lights and the forest I create behind them.

Our most fun tradition is going with my husband to the church he works at on Christmas Eve, followed by a stop at McDonald's (which we don't usually do) and the kids watch Santa's travels around the world while they eat, and on the hour drive home we sing Christmas songs. My Special kiddo is nonverbal but she sings. It's my most favorite gift.

Our favorite holiday tradition is a Christmas Eve box that the kids get to open from their Mamaw. The box always has a pair of matching pjs for them to wear on Christmas Eve while we watch a Christmas movie and make gingerbread houses. However, this year the box was extra special since my mom aka Mamaw made the pjs herself for all four grandchildren❤️

I have LOVED watching you all this year open your gifts!! I have so many wonderful Christmas memories that include my family traditions,,, as a kid and as a mom and now a grandma! As a kid I loved Christmas Eve Candlelight service at our church! I also loved the colder weather of MD and DE were I grew up as well as going into DC and seeing all the beautiful decorations! As a mom I loved spending evenings (Usually Christmas eve late!) wrapping the presents for my kids and spending that time with my husband laughing and carrying on! Now as a grandma...I get so excited picking out presents, wrapping them and I get so excited while waiting for the grands to get to my house and open all of them. I just love watching them have fun! My favorite Christmas tradition remains one from my childhood. While we slept waiting for Santa my mother would sneak into our rooms and, using a stamp pa1d and 3 fingers, left "Rudolph" paw prints on our cheeks and faces, as well as pajamas, with a letter from Santa saying he had left Rudolph to take a little nap with us while he went to some of the neighbors houses. We have wonderful pictures and memories of those Rudolph paw prints on our surprised faces! That tradition carries on through the generations of our family!
