Hello Maya! This is a fun tag and I enjoyed your responses. You’re correct: I haven’t been doing tags, but that’s only because I don’t have the energy. I do like watching them. ❤

What a lovely video, Maya! I so agree with you about the power of “real books”! I read a lot on my e-reader but there is something so special about reading the physical text, especially for books we most love.

Thank you, Hannah, I want to keep my library spare because of space, but there are books I need to buy because the first read meant so much to me. or they are about a subject I care deeply about. I appreciate your kind words. Aloha friend.

When you popped up this morning with this tag I wanted to see your picks. I'm working on this tag as well and hope to have it up on Sunday. I have a 2nd channel and my life is crazy bizzy. I keep wondering, what was I thinking??

Hi Cindy, Thank you for caring. I have an anxiety disorder so it pops up now and again. I'm trying to exercise and sleep earlier instead of reading most of the night. Aloha friend

I always learn something from your videos. I am learning so much about Hawaii and your heritage. I also love Barbara Pym. I enjoyed having my cup of tea in your company. Take care

The British Crime Library has a wonderful collection of Crime Fiction from the 1930's up until the 1950's. Ingenious plots, no graphic violence, etc. Well worth seeking out online, bookshops or libraries. Cosy but a challenge all the same. I also agree one cannot beat the feel, smell and holding them in your hands like physical books.

Hi ba, I have looked into the British Crime Library, but I was "clueless" about where to start. Do you have any suggestions? Take care. Aloha friend. Who do you suggest? Aloha friend.

Thanks for doing the tag Marilyn! I'm making my way through the Thrush Green series at the moment, love them 😊That Bob Dylan book looks amazing, I'm a big Dylan fan. Hawaii is on my TBR for this year, I also have his Mexico book but haven't read him yet.

Hi Aaron, Dylan is a genius and I have ties in both Minnesota and of course NYC, so it's extra special to me. I remember being enthralled with "Hawaii" and I hope you enjoy it. Aloha friend.

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is an amazing read. Well worth the time and a must read in a physical format as it adds to the time frame if that makes sense.

@@krzysamm7095 Yes, it makes perfect sense.I also want to touch the pages. I can't wait for the reread in April. Aloha dear friend

I’m glad you gave up having another channel. You’ve already got anxiety, you don’t need more. Also try not to worry about getting older. It’s better than the alternative and there are perks such as not being surprised when life happens. A good series of funny books with a mystery are Richard Osman’s The Thursday Murder Club.
