Since you have a Canadian passport why haven't you used it to extend your stay when visiting Europe, Greek Islands? You're always facing the 90 days max stay issue. Can't you exit and enter back with a Canadian passport?
@GabrielTravelerVideos
@GabrielTravelerVideos 2 сағат бұрын
I didn't have the Canadian passport for the past twenty years, until I just renewed it. But unfortunately what you're suggesting isn't allowed. You could do it and would very likely get away with it as I understand, especially if you exited through some of the southern countries of Europe like Spain. But you would be taking a bit of a risk of getting caught and potentially fined or banned from visiting Europe.

Gabriel, good to see you, and so glad to see you enjoying the warmth of Mexico again. My dad hails from the state of Jalisco where you are right now. You've covered most of Mexico pretty well, and maybe you've seen El Sumidero and what Chiapas has to offer, but to get really exotic, perhaps you'd like to try Cuatro Ciénegas (the Four Marshes) in the state of Coahuila. Yes, it's a hike north from where you are, but I think that it is unlike anything you may have experienced. It is a largely undiscovered set of unique ecosystems that few travelers have the privilege to enjoy. If you would be interested, you could tool up from Guadalajara on those comfy buses. In the meantime, enjoy the local cuisine as you move about! Cheers!

I have four passports. I was born with entitlement to three - Canadian, British and Irish - and have now applied for and received them all. The fourth I acquired when I naturalized in the US: The rule is you should always enter a country of which you are a citizen with that country’s passport. So I use the US passport to enter the US, the Canadian to enter Canada etc. For general travel to everywhere else, I go Irish!

I'm from Alberta. I've been to Mexico many times both backpacker style staying in hostels and also on all inclusive resort trips. My favourite area is easily Puerto Escondido and it's charming surrounding beach villages. Puerto Vallarta is not even close in comparison. The beaches and ocean swimming are soooo much betting in PE. I found the beaches in PV to be not as nice. Too cold, the water wasn't as nice, no waves. PE the waves are massive, the water the warm, there are sexy surfer guys and girls everywhere (primarily in La Punta). I can't recommend it enough

Not sure, possibly. One problem is that I couldn't just renew my passport since it had been expired for twenty years, so I had to apply for a new one. So they might not do that at an embassy. Regardless I was fine with heading up there, since I wanted to visit Banff anyway.

Glad to see you back on the road Gabe. Keep on keepin' on! Time for you to choose a totally new place. Maybe Central or Southern Africa? Think you've only done Egypt and Morocco?

So it seems that Cuba, Iran and North Korea are in sight of your travels in the future after you have a Canadian passport? Or return to the Southern Hemisphere to New Zealand and Australia where it is Summer now? Although this time I thought that you would stay in cold places (maybe even see the Northern Lights for the first time in Tromsø or Lofoten, Norway) after you had that kind of clothes for cold weather already in Canada, but it is clear that you love warmer weather more.

That's right, North Korea is also an option now, since Americans are no longer allowed to go.

No way, playa del carmen is better. Much more to do in the vicinity. Vallarta is nice but kind of boring.

Hi Gabriel, are Puerto Vallarta is very nice but you can see it's fairly crowded if it is nice to get away from the cold weather regardless. I saw a two places you may be interested in Isla holbox and La Paz.

Hi Gabriel always enjoy your videos have been to PV many times I would recommend the Beaches around Conchas Chinas you can also get the bus to Mismaloya which is a fun 20 minute ride. You can take a ferry to Yelapa from there. The River Cafe is one of the best restaurants on the Cuale River. Also one of the nicer small hotels in town is the Posada de Roger.

That seems really expensive for a room per night in Mexico. Have you tried shopping around? Maybe you should focus on finding some better deals.

I always search around for the best deals online when I look for hotels. Prices have gone up in Mexico plus it's close to Christmas.

Gabe not sure if you checked out Palenque in the state of Chiapas. Very nice area Lago Montebello, cascadas el chiflon, san cristobal de las casas. Anyways just thought I’d throw those out there. Happy travels and Feliz Navidad.
