I actually like Manson (I don't really care what all the other gothier-than-thou types think) and he's actually never claimed to be part of the Goth scene. He has said that his music contains Gothic elements, but not in the context of the actual Goth scene, rather focusing on the Gothic elements from the past. Poser or not, he's a good artist, therefore he has my respect. At least he makes a point rather than constantly singing about love and stuff.
