Boomslang tries to climb me!

Today we take out our Boomslang, Gaboon Viper, Leucistic Monocled Cobra, And Cottonhead (copperhead and cottonmouth hybrid) for enclosure cleanouts. Some of them are a little cranky for some reason, and the boomslang tried to bite me a little bit. Luckily our arms and legs led us to prevail.

I have over 25 years of experience and this guy is well ehhhhh anyways. He knows his stuff but keeping hots doesn’t make much sense to me because they could care less about your existence. They are cheeky, mean af and don’t give two shits about you. I find it absolutely hilarious the way people like ViperKeeper talk to these animals. Just because you keep hots doesn’t make you a good keeper. I have nothing against it cause at the end of the day it’s 100% on you if you get bit I wouldn’t give antivenom to you cause you made a mistake

You do us the best favor and service simply by staying safe and alive. It’s already impressive enough that you even have these things in your home (and crazy), you don’t have to act cool too while holding something that can end your life with one small slip up. We already think you are. (And crazy, don’t forget the crazy part 😂). It’s bat sh-t crazy to even have them, so you aren’t going to impress us more by handling dangerously. My son wants to get into Vernonest snakes of course he has been watching Chandler and Tyler. And they're the last people I would want my son being mentored by I tried to explain to him that is why they are both missing digits these amamals don't care who you are they see heat if you free handle a death noodle your playing Russian roulette with your life .I am glad you teach people how to respect these very dangerous but beautiful creatures I will find someone to teach my son the correct way to handle these animals thank you for the great video .

i don't think this guy is any better. Those snakes, especially the larger/longer ones, get into positions on the hook that I've never seen when watching less theatrical, more professional handlers; they're flying out of their cage, he seems almost to be deliberately agitating some of them at times. It doesn't look safe.
