A weekend on Minnesota's North Shore without year long reservations is impossible, unless you don't mind stretching your legs to find the hidden jem's. They are still out there, you just have to look.

I've been following you and your adventures but this video was an eye opener for me. When you stated you wouldn't share the locations well as for me not being from Minnesota do you really think I would want to spend all my vacation time trying to find these places?? I think not.. So much for watching your videos in hopes of being able to see a place and being able to just head there and start enjoying my vacation.... Thanks again for NOTHING but when you've got your own youtube channel I guess you get the feeling your BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE!!!!#

If you watch my videos, you may have seen how badly some of the spots get TRASHED!!! A lot of people watch these types of videos. I'm a tiny channel, but I have close to 2 million views. If I gave away the locations to every spot, some of them would absolutely get trashed. I find these spots on my own. It's not hard, and half the fun of remote camping is finding the spots. Many years back, I used to visit a little known beautiful spot outside of Wall South Dakota. Then, it started showing up on KZbin channels. Last year, I went back and counted over 100 campers. It will be gated as soon as the trash shows up. I don't want to be the reason for places getting shut down here. I love the outdoors too much to them get trashed by lazy irresponsible people looking for free camping. Like you said, it's my channel. You can start a channel and give way all the locations to every beautiful remote spot you find.

O dear ... you know he gives you a ton of information to find these places... he showed you signs which are huge indicators. Then all you have to do is spend a little time on Google earth and you will find them. There's also a couple apps that help you find them to. Part of the fun of boondocking is the adventure of finding these places.

That's a great time of year to visit. A little secret......November the north shore is a ghost town, not much going on but deer hunting, and has slowed down considerably over the last few years. Lake Superior has huge waves crashig the shores during the early winter storms. It is so beautiful to witness in person. Watching the power of the lake gives me much more respect for mother nature. There is a song called The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald that talks about a ship that was sunk in a November storm. Thanks for watching!!!

@KennyOfAllTrades
@KennyOfAllTrades 2 жыл бұрын
It has no issues with the front carrier. I think it is rated for 500 pounds. I picked up the front receiver from E-trailer. I would recommend a front carrier for adding additional space to the setup. The SWR 3500 HD handles the camper great to. I did some upgrades that made for better handling. But nothing that was absolutely required to carry the camper. I have a suspension video showing the upgrades done to the truck. It goes into detail of what I did. Thanks for watching!!

@KennyOfAllTrades 2 жыл бұрын
The Lance is a great camper. Also check out the Wolf Creek 840 or 850. They are manufactured by the same company making the Arctic Fox. Cirrus nucamp has the 620, it's made for a heavy half ton. The 825 is larger inside and comparable to the Lance 825 or Wolf Creek 820. The Arctic Fox 865 is a non slide unit so it will save a little weight but still built with the interior quailty that Arctic Fox is known for.
