Solid review. As a Cherry Foam user and "weekend warrior", I don't see how DIY or Clean significantly outpaces Superior Products. No one has ever noticed a difference in my final product whether I used Cherry Foam, DIY, Chemical Guys or Jimbo soaps. I would rather spend the money on protection. Again, and as always, great review. Your trainee stole the show though 😊

I’ll say CBP shampoo cling longer and seems to help lift the dirt up better but not enough for me to get rid of cherry foam. I agree, maybe 2 customers asked me what I used and they really didn’t care. No one would ever know which soap I use if I never tell them because nothing is visually different between them once the soap is gone.
@ericsantibanez935128 күн бұрын
Yes I agree with that, it's something I had to learn and understand , now it's making it more complicated when it comes to soap and having one gallon costs about 60 to 100 dollars that's insane compared to Superior $15 to , shine supply$35, and P&S $20-30. I'm a mobile detail so I did fall into the hype when I started etc . Thank moe and great video.

If I remember correctly, DIY has communicated that their label is incorrect. They agreed 1-2 ounces is plenty. You are spot on. That stuff is amazing.

Economics in a business is important. If you can’t make a profit, you don’t exist. Soap is the one place where you can make an economic decision without any consequences. I use the diy on my personal vehicle and on a vehicle before a coat but for most customers I like the Hybrid Solutions slick Pure wash. It foams, rinses, and provides lubricity like a more expensive product. You will always need to do a contact wash anyway so as long as the shampoo rinses well, it just doesn’t make sense to pay more. Good comparison video. Subbed.

Fun video! I like Superior Products. I use a mix of Superior's stuff for really dirty vehicles. I don't mind burning through more product at their pricing. I follow up the foam with DIY rinseless for the contact wash, interior surfaces, windows...DIY Rinseless is the backbone for my detailing. Also, DIY's Quick Beads is an amazing product. Much respect to DIY!

I wasnt surprised by your reasoning for not switching, i knew from the beginning of the video when you said the cost for a gallon for the cherry foam. At the end of the day its a pH neutral soap, its main purpose is for lubricity on a contact wash, where your main cleaning is going to be done. Using this for business, it makes more sense to use the cheapest product that can give you results that are good enough to keep customers coming back. Do you Rinseless wash alot or do you stick to soap washes? Great reviews, as a DIYer ill stick with my DIY Detail products.

Great info! I agree with your comments regarding all 3 products. For me, what ever can clean the car with the least amount of touching. I ordered clean by pan to test, only soap so far that is almost touchless is Jimbo's.
@Moe_Nation27 күн бұрын
I think I’ll order that jimbo one to test next. That sounds interesting
@gtileo26 күн бұрын
Jimbo's is a high pH soap even though it says it's pH neutral. ImJoshV sis a review of it and a test. You might as well use All Clean to do a wash if that's the case

@AllenReinecke28 күн бұрын
I just clean my own vehicles but I use Bilt Hamber Touchless as a pre-wash. It works really well to get rid of that film which soap never gets and helps to reduce marring. It works really well on the fender inner liners! Then I foam (or Rinseless) and contact wash.
@Moe_Nation28 күн бұрын
Where you get that from ?

@@Moe_Nation Obsessed Garage. They ship really fast too. Forensic Detailing channel sold me on that stuff and it works. I use a chemical sprayer - around 2.5 floz per gallon, which is all you need. I bought the 5l jug for $43. It'll last a long time

Man I've been thinking about switching products to other brands like KC , DIY but I just don't see the point when superior products works just as good for a fraction of the cost.
@5hift6ear19 күн бұрын
Brother the dilution ratio is horrible on cherry foam. Superior states 36:1-120:1. Where something like Meguiars hyper wash has a dilution ratio of 400:1 and is available at harbor freight for $30/gal. You can't beat that.

I prefer to go to my local auto store when I can. I hate paying shipping costs which can be a high percentage (up to 50%!) of the product price.

Thanks for the review. Only 1 company is an American Company and made in the USA. Which is important to me. Yes, Cherry Foam does cost considerable less, which is also important to me as well. Thirdly, if you are using these products in a business, there is no doubt which product gives the most bang for the buck!
@KingTheDetailer28 күн бұрын
I will stick to superior, for the money you can't beat it. The sopa is just a good simple soap priced accordingly , you can expect to make money paying $64 a gallon just to wash a car with a basic soap is soap and keeping chemical cost down is key yo any business
@JayDetailz27 күн бұрын
Foreal! I strictly stock superior for soaps, APC, wheel cleaner. No reason in paying more than 30$ for a gallon of anything.
@KingTheDetailer26 күн бұрын
@JayDetailz agreed the only thing I buy thats over 30$ is my ceramic sealnt last 6 months , I'm superior would come out with one that's concentrated i wouldn't need to go anywhere else

@@KingTheDetailer yeah I hear you on grabbing sealants elsewhere, I actually have a gallon of slick finish from superior. It’s a finishing wax that’s super slick. Lasts a while when putting a sealant on top, but they haven’t kept up with the times. They need sio2 spray forsure
@KingTheDetailer26 күн бұрын
