Just out of curiosity will M2 running boards eventually be longer version to be the same length of as factory power ones on Ultimate?

We do not have plans to lengthen the boards compared to how they are now. The rocker panels on these vehicles are not straight, they curve down at the front so that is the reason for the shorter length on our boards.

I would have my dad get these over the other ones but they only drop down like 2 inches

They drop down more than 2 inches. For example, on the F150 they drop 11 inches from the bottom of the door.
