Fortnite cranked up to max settings is one of the most graphically intense games out there right now?

on my hardware (r7 5800x3d and rtx 3070) I got a ~16% perf increase with full gpu utilisation on Minecraft with hwaccel raytracing on, before it was around ~240fps and after the ddu step and installing the same drivers as before with identical debloat and optimisation settings i averaged ~280 fps in the same scenario.

So I run laptop/external and have it setup so the AMD igpu only runs the laptop screen, and the nvidia gpu only runs the external over display link, currently with optimus not making any decisions. Would I keep everything connected as is, and run DDU twice for each gpu? Disconnect external and turn optimus back on and then DDU? I've been curious about DDU for a while but I was never sure who to ask that I trusted and wouldnt waste my time. If you're not totally sure i'll guinea pig the install fuck it thanks for another no filler video

Do you know if I'm able to download NVCP somehow without Microsoft Store? After using DDU/NVcleanstall my NVCP is gone and after doing some tweaks all my Microsoft apps and services are deleted and I can't figure out how to get it without MS. I know I can restore my pc but I want to use DDU/NVcleanstall and not lose NVCP.
