I've been starting my days off with supplements, and then I have some Greek yogurt with a scoop of horseradish, cayenne pepper, and a little bit of raw honey. It tastes great. I also start my day off with some low sodium V8 vegetable juice and a bottle of water. I'm noticing some results. I definitely need to look into your morning wood smoothie. For the parasympathetic nervous system, I've been taking cold showers, nasal breathing, and also going to bed with low frequency meditation music playing in the background. My biggest hurdles are getting more exercise,( I used to get 25,000 steps a day), avoiding prnography, and smoking cigarettes. I've cut back on smoking a lot this last month, but I still indulge in a cigarette or two every day. I know, I know, it's very stupid. Since making many dietary changes and incorporating pro-parasympathetic activities, I have less of an urge to smoke. I just need to quit the bad habit cold turkey. Thank you, Dr. Truong; I've been binging your videos. I will implement humming and massage into my nasal breathing routine. P.S. I have had sex two times this week. I was able to maintain an erection during intercourse. Your videos really do help.

Great advice from Dr Anne re breathing through nose. Something else to add to the calming effect is to keep eyes still by looking straight forward - eyes may be open or closed and allow natural blinking to occur as needed. In not moving eyes sideways or up/down the brain is brought to stillness mode, not chattering incessantly (blah blah) habitually. Try it out?

I knew the principles of this but was doing it wrong. The massage was wrong and the holding 4 seconds was not done. I followed your example and felt strange after 10 reps, so sleepy and the volume of air increased a lot, and the vibration felt like it was vibrating down to my testicles....a pleasant vibration all the way down.. I only got that when holding 4-5m seconds at each hold point. No effect was was felt is just cycling through intake and humming exhale. What a strange feeling. Thank you. I am a pretty fit sexually active 75 yo with a beautiful hot 47 year old girlfriend so I have to keep up with her. I weigh same as age 20, and same waist size but my failure weight on legs and arms strength is about 25% less than at 25 and my back is a lot weaker. My "girl" is a long distance open ocean swimmer who all spring and summer does 7km straight out then back every day which for such a slim girl is really impressive...but the biggest problem is her breasts are too large to be really competitive. So she only competes against her own clock.

Yes breathing techniques help massively and I have been doing them for years with meditation and I am a qualified Emmett practitioner and I use that technique for clearing my sinuses and I incorporate the tongue on the roof of the mouth with breath hold to clear it to, great advice and thank you. It's true, but according to ancient Hindu texts you have to make the sound mmmmmmm Just like in Aummmmmm Hreemmmmm Shreemmmmm etc Without Opening Your Mouth. It's very transformative, but Now they have found out that it increases nitric oxide in human body. But whether the increase is 15 X or less depends upon how many Hours you do it in a day.
