@@AgingOnYourTerms I don't have one fully formed yet. I've only been doing shorts for two weeks. But once I have more data I will let you know. At the moment I am on board with shorts, because I am averaging 400-500 views per short and long form is much less...so on board at the moment, but I do not have enough data yet to make a solid statement about it. As soon as I do...I will make a video about it. Thank you for your comment and watching my content! I appreciate it.:)

My KZbin (work) channel has been up for years, we have over 1k, but missed the watch time window. Anyway….because of you I’ve started posting shorts on YT. I think I’m at 10 now over the past 3 weeks. Sadly YT studio says it doesn’t have enough info to see when my audience is online. ….thanks for the info tho!

Ah ok, yes I just learned that this feature doesn't show for everyone, depends on how much content it has to work with. Great that you have started doing shorts again. I think they are so quick and relatively easy. I'm planning on doing a series about shorts, because I just completed a workshop on it with a ton of great tips. What type of content works best? Ive just saw a video that “reaction” content is performing better. What do you think?

I feel it's better to find something you enjoy doing , so you wouldn't lose motivation so easily

I think reaction content is great if it fits your niche. I think that would fall into the entertainment category. So if you have a channel that could use this tactic, many people love to be entertained by others reactions. It makes them feel connected when you have similar reactions, plays on the psychology. I've heard too they work well. It's a great style of video content. Personally, I'm not very reactive so I wouldn't be able to do those it would feel to fake for me. But my husband would be great at something like that....so I think it also depends on your personality as well. I was reading recently that the best content is video tutorials, ask me anything, product reviews, listicle videos (lists), challenge, unboxing, and more. Pros and cons, etc are also great. But all in all, depends on what you can produce in an engaging way. Hope this helps and thanks for raising the topic. Hopefully others will feel free to give their 2 cents too! xoxo
