Boosted does not sell their grip tape....The only way you can get it is to send it to them to replace the grip tape and I heard with shipping it would end up costing around $100.00. No thank you!!!!

Omg I hope I have caught you in time to save you! I would avoid evolve for daily commute. I have owned my Carbon GT for almost 2 year now and and have gone through 5 motors, one truck, one motor mount, 1 remote, 1 battery and plenty of belts. The speed is awesome, the range is insane, but damn the thing is a never ending money pit of repairs! My bb v2 is cheaper to repair and is far more reliable. I'm selling the evolve and cutting my losses. Really wish I had just gone with boosted to begin with.

Brendan Wolfe he’s got 3000 miles on it so apparently whatever he’s been doing has been working...besides you would only want a tiny bit of oil since it attracts dirt and grime unless you plan on cleaning on a regular basis.

You actually don't need to loosen the motor to put the belt back on. Hold the belt against the teeth and turn the wheels, the belt will ride up on the teeth and align itself. aaaand you have a skate tool, why are you using vice grips? You're at risk of stripping the allen bolts by not tightening the nut instead of the bolt.

Aleksei Petrovski,. The batteries are actually very good. They are lithium Iron Phosphate cells. They last about 4 times longer life span than regular lithium ion batteries. And if you get the extended range battery pack you can go up to 12 miles on beginner, but in real life about 7 or 8 miles on average.

ohhh my GOD that is NOT how you should tension your belts holy shit! You could SERIOUSLY fuck up your motors doing that! You shouldn't put sideways force on those kinds of brushless motors, they don't have a support bearing on one side of the can. For anyone else who's going to tension their motors, pull on the pulley, or push on the bit of the motor that doesn't spin. But for the love of god, don't push on the part that spins.

You over tightened the nuts on the wheels. Every skater knows that there should be enough wiggle room to hear audible clicks when shaking the wheel along the axle. Why make a tutorial on how to maintain a board when you don't know how to do it properly?

Scuffed grip tape replacement too lol. Why not take the trucks off before peeling it? Razor is a good idea, but for God sake, take a go around the edges with finer sand paper to smooth it out and catch the parts that still overhang. Guaranteed that tape will start to peel and chip in all the places he neglected with that razor.

That is 100% not true. There should not be wiggle room and audible clicks. The wheels are supposed to be tightened down. The only time you would do something like that is if you don't have a spacer in between the bearings which is a bad idea anyways. Don't try to critique and correct someone unless you know what you are talking about!
