Never buy a cheap skateboard you will regret it never buy from Walmart never from anywhere but a skate shop I recommend a sector 9 longboard as a starter longboard get a drop through truck style

I don't think so also sure cruising is easier but it's just as easy as cruising on a regular skateboard you just can't do tricks as easy so technically doing an Ollie or kickflip on a longboard is harder than a skateboard so longboarding is harder
