*Hello, for breakfast this morning* Brent and I staged having french toast with a hint of cinnamon and Emilio brought over his special maple syrup. While Kyle ran the grill, Shane sliced up the fruit and almost lost another fingernail. Pedro hand made the table and chairs while we waited and managed to not crush any airplanes. As many motors as I've seen Kyle bust apart, I've learned a lot more about Honda motors. Stupid little things like the two retainer clips on the valve caps. Thanks Kyle!

BMW motors have that too. At least the N54's and M54's. Found that out and more when I money shifted my daily when I was 16 a decade ago lol

I've worked on a variety of engines. I have never seen a valve held in in any other way than retainer clips. It's real common in most all 4 stroke engines. Glad to read that you learned something. I'm not being a dick. Most people don't care to learn new things anymore.

You're right though, I haven't disassembled many engines. Aside from the one I hydrolocked in a giant mud hole lol. It's neat to see the tear down of motors so often and just take little mental notes. Gotta learn something new everyday, that's why we're here!
