Cody Do a burnout I built a k24 block k20 head Crx that i'm going to give to my dad on his birthday. He always loved the body of the CRX since it's light. I got one in awesome condition, Full interior stock and nothing broken or rattling .Going to throw on some ITB's and get it tuned.

I was watching some older videos and it sux how things change with fame. It was nice to see everyone enjoying working together and just doing the things they love. Seems like you're the only survivor through all this. I enjoy the videos and admire the things you have accomplished at such a young age. Keep up the great videos and I'll keep watching.

just a little tip kyle, try use a different grade of stainless (like 316) as 304 ends to crack over time due to the heat cycles/work hardening and weight of the turbo. Just something to keep in mind for future manifolds, loving the fab youre doing just want to impart some wisdom. keep up the good work

Of course you didn't get any sugaring, you didn't get a full penetration weld, notice how you can still see the gap when looking at the joint, that means you didn't get a full penetration weld.
@justdrifting47497 жыл бұрын
Daniel Napast yeah, it's gonna suck when the welds crack after a few passes

ive got a HNC qualification in welding and fab, some of the runners dont have enough penetration, i could still see the cut line on the inside of the first runner you showed, not bashing your welds look decent just dont want your manifold to crack

a few suggestions for welding, possibly less of a bevel OR do a fill pass, the weld look like they have sunk in a bit, nothing major for the wago imo, but for the next one , other than that beautiful

Kyle i really hope to get as good as you with my TIG one day cause i'm quite novice now. Absolutely wonderful result looks tough and durable, good 304 Stainless too. Looks like i need a different cup for my torch also i noticed you have a Monster 14 do you think a size 12 would be better for the tight spots around the flanges and bends? i think it would help a lot if i got one like that with a mesh inside to help the flow of argon. Thanks for the guide also I'm getting ready for a turbo setup also and this is a good and close up tutorial nicest i've seen so far encompassing the whole mock up procedure and hardware nearly. Appreciate it man!
