Drake attempting to portray it as a 20v1 was him planting an excuse if he loses to Kendrick. Weeknd is a RNB singer, Metro is a producer, ASAP is not musically relevant anymore & was never known for bars, Ross was mostly just clowning Drake on social media. He did not “NEED” to start a rap battle with these people. Nobody cared for it. He was trolling & focusing on them more than Kendrick(the top tier rapper he’s been sneak dissing for a decade) until fans forced him to focus on him but by then he fucked himself over & made more crucial mistakes…not that he had a chance against Kendrick 1v1 anyways. I don’t believe Drake was confident against Kendrick & reverted to battling people he knows are not on his level.

i been trying to say this to people everytime they use that excuse of 20v1. Drake focusing on Rocky is proof that he IS IN FACT jealous of him and Rihanna. @hedgehog8776 Eh…I just think it’s a weak narrative. Sure some other rappers sent strays his way but that’s gonna happen when you move the way Drake apparently does in those circles. Drake got a fleet of back up behind the scenes but pretty much nobody backing him up publicly that isn’t on payroll. That says something about him. Not sure how saying a bunch of rappers agrees with Kendrick publicly is supposed to be some kind of point in Drake’s favor. You’re either that guy or not. Dot says he’s that guy, and has rappers apologizing for bars that might even be perceived as being directed at him. Drake whining about 20 v 1 even if it was true (it’s not) is Charmin soft. Nobody was clamoring for a response to Ross. We don’t have to agree though. All good.

Kendrick was going at him alone and noticed once Kendrick start dropping everybody else stopped and got out of the way. He didn’t even need to focus on them, Kendrick was his main target but since he really had nothing or couldn’t go into depth he had no choice but to include everyone else.
