Just found your channel I'm thinking of adopting a border Collie from a border Collie rescue he's around 2 years old & has different coloured eyes should I be concerned about this for health issues? they haven't got much information much about him as he came from a rescue in Ireland, I've had 2 collies before.

Hi Will. You mentioned about socialising your puppy from the day they come home. I assume this is with both humans and other dogs.. how would you recommend to do this given the circumstances of COVID-19? Our pup is 8 weeks old. Thank you

Hey Courtnay, thanks for watching! We have a video on one of our other channels looking at the best way to socialise your puppy in lockdown: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppXMqKalnbSngqs&pbjreload=101

Thank you so much. I'm coming back to owning BC puppy again, after many years. Glad I found your site. I've watched a few American, so-called Border Collie training sites, which left me confused. You are straight to the point, I agree with what you are saying. Hopefully, I will learn from you, how to have the perfect BC adult dog.

Hi , I just only just found your channel and BCs and Belgium Mels are defo my best breed of Dogs but I would never own either of the breeds even thou I walk between 5-10 miles a day I dont think that would be enough as both breeds rarely switch off. However in my humble option a Collie crossed with the right breed can be almost as smart but less hard work and manageable . I only just picked up a playmate for Grace my Lab x , an 8 month old rescue BC x Lab yesterday who I renamed Morris who is adorable and smart . A great channel , keep up the good work guys !

Thank you for these videos. I want to learn everything I can about the breed. I run a dance studio and I want a mascot who can do fun routines with me and go to work with me. I also want a dog that can heard my chickens, go hiking and biking with me.

NEVER tease a BC. They are LITERAL dogs, so they become confused by teasing... which is cruel to them. Therefore, consistency is essential. If you are consistent, then they will bond to you better and will become a much better friend who will amaze you... especially with loyalty. Better than most people.

Hi I have just got a new puppy. Parents are working sheep dog from mid Wales her father is Welsh sheep dog and mum a Welsh collie. I want to do the best for my puppy and our home backs onto fields valleys and area's of woodland. Will being out and about exploring the area two or three times a day be enough for this intelligent working dog?

Also, mix up the locations where you walk. Otherwise, your BC can become BORED!

My border collie tries to herd my bird. And I try not to let him. Cuz he needs to be careful. That bird will actually f*** him up.

I’m working hard to try to change how we handle him. He needs more work than we had been giving and I been looking into a lot of this information and play with him more to exercise
