EVERY Ancient Glyph Location in New World

Ancient Glyphs are coming in with the Brimstone Sands update. Collecting all of these items is going to be important to access certain elite chests in Brimstone Sands, and certain portals in the zone as well. In this video we cover what the ancient glyphs are and how to find every ancient glyph location in New World.

Most of the locations are now locked behind the main story quest. You will need to do the Main Story quest prior to hunting for any other missing runes. This was not the case on the PTR when this video was recorded. Sorry for any confusion!

4,5, and 19 require a Side quest. 7,12,14,15, and 16 require Main story quest. 6,8,17,21 and 22 probably best in a group

You can easily solo 21. Run past everything go into the room with glyph, on the right side there is a hole in the wall u can jump in and reset everything. After that you can just creep up to the side of the stone holding the glyph and interact from the safe side....you dont have to be right in front of any of these to get them

it would have been An A+ if you had left the map open long enough for people to get a decent look at the general location of them to get a screenshot or something but I had to rewind and hit pause about 50 times because you left it open for like 1 frame and that was it. So, C-, but appreciate the info. Next time, let people have long enough to see the area you are talking about 😖

head up to anyone watching on official launch, the 4th glyph at the shrine is locked behind a quest given by someone at the shrine. you may need to advance in the main story to get access to it however.

I'm having an issue with the WETZUU glyph (it looks like G)... it's not letting me unlock it. I'm standing right in front of it (at the end of that long bridge, as described above). I have not had this issue with the dozen other glyphs I have collected thus far. Anyone have any idea if this is bugged? Or do these have to be done in some order? Thanks for the video!

OK, figured it out. There is a side quest given by npc Perrin Mercier, at the Great Shrine of Toth, that has to be accepted first (it's basically a quest that takes you to where you have to go to get this glyph, anyway). Cheers.

For 14 Just use the bright yellow teleport right in front before he starts scaling the mountain it'll bring you right to the glyph if you've already cleared the main quest

GLYPH 4 at time stamp 4.45 is not part of the main story quest. i just completed this one by talking to perrin mercier at this location. he will let you do a couple of small quest that dont take to much time. with these quests you can open the glyph and the portal to teleport.

You can’t do it without the quest anymore :( this was done on the PTR. You have to do the main story to access quite a few of them now

i got the 21 solo on the elite zone for the one who want to try i got it first try just skip all the mob when you near the glyph dont go in you will see a rock with a piece of wood on it go on to lose agro and when you chill go kill the mob who mine the rock and hub the right wall and go close of the glyph you will be able to take it without take the agro of the boss ! sorry for my poor english lmao hope that can help someone !

so as for the Dun-Ga glyph i found a way to sneak up on it and get it. you just have to be able to run and role dodge past the first part and then scale the rocks to the right of the glyph and come through the ruined part of the wall in the back. lol

@@MarioTuzo You need to pickup and complete "The Ancient Glyphs" quest from the main Brimstone town in the middle then you need to visit the Great Shrine of Thoth fast travel and complete the quests from NPC Perrin Mercier. Eventually you'll unlock "The Antiquarian's Dream" and then you'll be able to read TEYII (4).

Would really help if you did not just flash the map for a split second but instead pause at the actual location. It is not just you. I have yet to find a video where the author actually shows you exactly where they are when they start working towards the glyph.

for the future can you show the map better for each location?? was so annoying to have to pause each time for the split-second frame of the map. Even then it was zoomed in so it was a a puzzle game to figure out what part you were even at. Just make it easier and describe or zoom out on the map and show it on the screen for more than 0.00004 seconds

Could of done a better job showing the map for longer. Literally a split second you show it. Also could of taken the time to show routes without fighting enemies. Most of these you don’t have to fight. Not everyone has max gear and can take these enemies on solo.

I usually click these videos from Google, and read comments if I need to after. Soooo.... Anyway, why are you making how to videos in the PTR, terrible idea. 1. You don't use the proper name for anything. Brimstone is called a territory, the Acid protection is a tincture. 2. You don't tell anyone what they will need, you should at least let everyone know at the beginning what assumptions you are making. I.e., Assume you are level 60 can enter Brimstone, have a Tier 5 Azoth staff etc. 3. There are so many short cuts to these places. These paths are inefficient.
