You have to type exec filename(.)txt each time to run it. If you want to play with friends who don't have it, just don't run it beforehand.

I updated as recommended. But after running the hex tool, then trying to run the game, but it crashes. Doesn’t matter how I do it, the game crashes my whole CPU and the whole system restarts itself. And it won’t load unless I search for errors in steam setting for the game. Any help would be appreciated.

@@11cylynt11 Uninstalling will not affect your saves. CPU refers to the processor, not the entire machine, just call it a computer. Go to steam, uninstall BL2, then delete the folder under program files x86 for BL2. Reinstall via steam and attempt a fresh mod install

If that is with plain file explorer, verify cache. If that is with the bl2 hex tool, it might be set to look for something aside form applications, just check at the bottom right and make sure. Regardless, sounds like you need to verify cache integrity.

You are right but not 100%, I had problems using the Hex for bl2, I got pop-ups with different types of problems that I did not understand, but in the end the patch was applied. in the game when I go to run the command it recognizes it but I get a very long list of various items and other things it doesn't recognize this seems to be a problem but not on a large scale because when I see in game there are various changes within the game, like missions and their rewards, just like in some bosses. Anyway, at the moment it is playable and understandable. Thank you very much for the guide!
