it honestly wasn't horrible. A lot of people jump on the "hate the movie" band wagon because now you look dumb if you aren't in the trend of hating it. it's not 100% game lore, but it had sooooo many things from the game in it. It really was fun, haha

I'm one of those who just didn't bother upon hearing the age rating change and goreless visuals.. But I'll say that what I HAVE seen from clips, that involve small things like.. claptrap for instance, the movie isn't completely without some shine in there... very little shine imo, but there none-the-less. I still won't watch it, though.

You're totally off of your rocker 100% this was probably the worst video game movie adaptation Ive seen in the past 12 years. You simply have very very low standards regarding movies.

i've got no issue with any of the casting because anybody who's not an insufferable asswagon shouldn't expect everything to be identical to the source. kevin hart is obviously a bad choice for roland if he's completely incapable of acting like in the game but TBH i can't imagine it will be good anyways so i don't think it's a big deal. however i'm still excited for it and i think it looks great visually even though there's a lot of questionable choices. i'm most interested in seeing the guns and gear being used and reference.

I don't 100% agree with you, but you made a lot of good points. I can definitely see it as being good IF you take it at face value and not expect a "Borderlands" walkthrough. There are the games, if you want that. Like Edgar Ramirez said in the video, the game already exists, so the transition expands on that universe. I have high hopes for the film and I am a HUGE Borderlands fan. But I gotta say, "insufferable asswagon" is the best description of most of the fanboys who post on these videos that I have seen. I gotta remember that one.

I watched the trailer and it doesn't make that much sense from what I saw. The graphics and CGI are cool, but the story and plot did not catch my attention and excite me. I feel like this is gonna be another mediocre action/adventure movie. (Just my opinion)

Why is liliths hair so bright and orange?^^ Nice to see the backdrops though, I liked the city with moxxxies bar, looks a lot like ingame footage, nice. Lets see if this movie delivers^^

Played the game, could'nt connect to it (yet). Watched the trailer and thought: Maybe this will bring me closer. In beforehand misjutching a movie is not my type. Also I like the fact that it was produced during the pandemic, which is awesome. So I'm looking forward to see it, no matter what. =)

Did good job visually but got the age look of the characters all wrong, i dont know about story havent seen the film yet, but im guessing thats all wrong to given the bad reviews, the actors may have researched but more importantly did the Producer, writers and Director do there research?

Planet called 'Pandora' in Borderlands and Cameron's Avatar films takes place on 'Pandora' too. I'm guessing these writers have very limited literary sources -besides Greek mythology- to borrow the names for their planets from, eh? Seems like it.
