Saw the cast and instantly knew it was trash. Love when Kevin heart or the Rock are in movies because I know not to waste my time and money on them 😂😂

I saw it yesterday and i thought it was decent. Not bad and not great. Ariana and Cate were fantastic in this. The rest of the cast did good.

I was never much of a gamer, but I did love the Borderlands franchise! I will probably end up seeing the movie anyway, even if it is terrible. But I'll just wait for it to come to streaming.

The movie was in trouble from the start, Craig Mazins (the last of us) original script was completely butchered to the point he removed his name from it, the cast are good actors but completely miscast for the characters, it was completely gutted down from an R rating with massively delayed reshoots and the studio released it with little marketing so they knew it was bad. It should have been a deadpool style over the top r rated comedy action… it’s just plain dull and lazy.

Apparently it was a hard R and the studio ordered reshoots to bring it to PG13. Roth couldn't be a part of the reshoots because he was already on another project, so they probably got someone willing to do whatever they said. A hard R Borderlands sounds a lot more in keeping with Eli Roth's normal style.
