Take a few points away from Man and Machine and put them into the Dreadnought tree so you can get the capstone, Overcharge. That little bit of extra health and shields for yourself pales in comparison to the crazy bonuses Overcharge gives you and any nearby allies.

As a console user, Termination Protocol is awesome. Aiming is harder with joysticks, and a lot of fine motion control comes from the left stick. In normal FFYL, I have difficulty landing shots once I can’t use that stick to aim

One thing to keep in mind about Laser Focus is that lasers can mimic the other gun types based on the barrel. Hyperion has a railgun effect that uses 5 ammo per shot to function like a sniper rifle. Tediore provides a tri-beam that functions like a tightly clustered laser shotgun. Maliwan has the Ghostbusters beam for continual damage. Dahl has a standard blaster type that penetrates through multiple targets. That leaves Scav as the rapid bolter which just kind of sprays beams all over the room in hopes of hitting stuff. The body of the laser gun grants the familiar BL 2 bonuses like inverted accuracy when fired, or reloads explode, burst fire when aiming down a sight, etc.

Agreed. I wasn’t sold on laser focus, but the way lasers are differentiated makes a huge difference.

Nero, The Cooldown Rate is better if its a higher percentage because it means it comes back faster

NerosLetsPlays Yup. Cooldown follows the formula of 1/(1+cooldown rate% bonuses). So +15% cooldown rate becomes 1/1.15, or 87% of your original cooldown. So 42 seconds with that one skill is dropped to 36.5 seconds. So you shave 5.5 seconds off the cooldown with that one skill alone. Obviously getting up to +100% cooldown rate will provide the biggest bonus, since that means 1/2 the cooldown time, or 21 seconds. Personally I'm curious if Escalation will function like Salvador's Get Some and let you refund part of your action skill cooldown while the skill is currently active. If it does, then that along with careful use of Laser Guided could mean nearly infinite deployment for the drones.

nice vid, love your stuff, me and my one friend went with me being wilhem and her being claptrap, it works out great, i do like 70% of the dmg and she does the support stuff, our kill rate to death ratio is high. BUT even when she is too busy to be online, i do enough dmg to solo, bc really if your drones are strong, you can launch em then hide in the next room lol, works good for us and me.

Laser Focus is a niche skill, but Venom Bolts is *NOT* a niche skill. It adds potential damage over time to all of Wolf's attacks. That's not niche.

Hey Nero, I think this build would be better if you want a drone focused set up. With the dreadnought cap stone, it makes you and your team that much better. Also with 1 in scramble it redeploys Wolf and adds time to it, just for one skill point! Termination protocol with just make you even more survivable. Here is the Imgur think. imgur.com/QDiB49e
