The game itself was fun. The story was awesome and you actually could feel yourself starting to like Jack in the beginning only to have that transform through the game. The real issue was the lack of DLC. There were so many unexplored stories and side quest chain opportunities. The lack of a real end game, still great fun for a playthrough every few months!

Going through this game again on my Ps5 with plenty of trophies to get. Such an underrated game imo. I think it’s because it had such big boots to fill after BL2 , which shouldn’t really be a factor since it wasn’t even a direct sequel. Sure the o2 mechanic is sometimes annoying but overall a great game. :)

Coding the mosquito might've been simple depending on how jumping is coded. When i make a game and want the player to be able to jump, i have a true/false check that tells whether the player is colliding with the ground. If they are the check is set to true and the player can jump, if they aren't colliding with the ground it's set to false which disables the jump. If the devs had a similar system you could just say "while the player isn't on the ground, set health regen to 20%" and that will keep the health regen at that level until the player lands on the ground, at which point it'd go back to normal once that true/false check is set to true
