I am shy of trying new unfamiliar foods when I don't know what goes into them. Your channel is great for demystifying various foods for me. I'm going to be a lot less anxious about trying Turkish food now. I tend to like Arabic and north African food anyway, but I like knowing what's in things. Mostly the ingredients and preparation seem very accessible, and having worked with phyllo/filo dough makes me confident of all the borek recipes. Thanks.

hi, again thank you for your kind comment. :) Unfortunately I don't have any idea about where do you get thin pastry in another country but you can make thin pastry sheets at home. Please check this video maybe this can give to you a solution. :) ?v=m77qnk5TjVo

if you live in a nation with a large turkish minority like england, germany, france, the netherlands or belgium you can find it easily at turkish supermarkets but as the us has a smaller minority you can't find em there but there is a way to make them just look up for a recipe on the internet :)

Is it more traditional to use either yogurt or a mild flavor cheese like cottage cheese than sheep's milk cheese like feta?
