@@emilhajric-helpjuice maybe the word, but the taste of algerian burek and the turkish one are totally different I'm algerian and I already tried making turkish burek, I still prefer the algerian one cuz it's crunchy and the filling is just so delicious I think it's because of the spices we use often, the turkish burek is good but not that interesting imo for sure

Pretty fascinated that you've managed to make the whole recipe out of scratch. "Dyoul" or as is referred to as "Spring rolls" are generally hard to make so being able to pull that off is in itself an achievement. Can't wait to see the rest of Algerian dishes that you'll be making.

I had the opportunity to explore Algeria from north to south, a true gastronomic and cultural continent. Each region, with its distinct dialects, offers an impressive richness and diversity. Every city has its own unique identity, traditions, and cuisine. Algerian gastronomy is a culinary treasure, boasting more than 300 different couscous recipes. The tchoutchouka, a delightful dish made with peppers and tomatoes, is a real treat. The pastries are incredibly varied, offering flavors and textures to satisfy every palate. I visited Kabylia, a mountainous region with a vibrant culture, and Algiers, where the Casbah presents a magnificent architectural spectacle. Ghardaia, known as the pearl of the desert, is remarkable for its Mzab people and well-preserved traditions. In Tipaza, Roman sites remind us of the country's ancient history and rich heritage.❤❤❤ Every city in Algeria is unique, providing a different experience with each visit. If you have the chance to discover this country, you will be amazed by its authentic cuisine and warm, unpretentious people deeply attached to their traditions.
