You ever put an exhaust on that bullitt? I got a bullitt a few months ago and looking to hear an exhaust on that car. It comes factory with a different exhaust note than the standard gt, so I'm curious if these borlas sound different on the bullitt.

Seriously. I had the S-types on my old GT and loved them. Then I bought an '18 without active exhaust. I waited and waited for them to release it but I got impatient and bought an MBRP race catback instead. I too want to hear what the non-active exhausts sound like. I probably would have bought an ATAK system

Hi. Thanks for reaching out! Our active exhaust systems for the 2018+ Mustang GT do have valves, but they are not the Borla Pocket Valves. The valve strategy is similar to the factory active exhaust and is designed to be plug-and-play with the factory actuators. Thank you.

It does not restrict performance. The 2018+ Mustang GT has quad tips and only two of them have valves. When the valves are closed the exhaust gasses flow through the two tips without valves. Also, the valves open up during hard acceleration or wide open throttle. The active exhaust valves only affect the overall volume of the exhaust system via positioning of the valves during start up and cruise. It's awesome dude. I got the Atak on my 10 speed 5.0 last month. It's loud as hell when you first take off, and you can definitely hear it going through the first couple of gears, but after that it's just as quiet as stock if your driving in D. Its pretty tame below 1500 rpms (which is pretty much when it auto shifts for you) but beyond that it sounds like a completely different beast, the downshifts are thunderous
