BORLA S-TYPE AXLEBACK ON MY 2021 CHEVROLET CAMARO ZL1 1LE!!

The Borla S-Type Axle back exhaust changes the tone of the ZL1 and I love it! It's a lot more throaty and rowdy. Deeper tone and wide open throttle sounds nuts! Plus the startup is a little more crackly. Let me know what you think!

Borla definitely adds some “bass” to any exhaust in my opinion. Sounds good. Great car to drive in these few days of summer especially in Seattle.

Problem with the stype is you need secondary cat delete or headers to make it louder than stock otherwise it’s pretty much a quiet exhaust and no louder than stock but with a deeper tone.

Sounds almost the same as my Borla Atak axle back but sounds awesome! I also went with that black finish on mine but when the guy installed mine, the tips looked like they stuck out too far so he had to chop off alittle more pipe than what it says in the instructions in order to tuck the tips in abit better.

Like the tone of the S type better than Atak. Also deffinatlly get rid of the crimped OEM mid section🏆

Agreed! The s type sounds better. Atak and most other "extreme" exhausts sound too raspy

If you ever want to hear your exhaust more, put down the back seats. It makes a massive difference

Sounds great! Question for you, do you happen to know the part number for these? I went on the Borla website and they aren't showing any axle backs for the ZL1 only catbacks. Can you use the same SS axle back on the ZL1? Is that what you did?

Just installed this setup on my zl1 Having a rattle issue on the driver's side where the valve is and don't know why. Everything is tight. Did you experience and type of issue? Thanks for your help

Yeah I actually did notice that but I think it’s from the second exhaust tip being only attached to the hanger and muffler.

IMO those tips are sticking out too far. You want to barely be able to read the logo. I’m pretty sure you can adjust it
